Philosophy

 

Sol International Media and Communication Arts (SIMA) is a hands-on production based program in the heart of South Korea’s technology hub, Daejeon. SIMA brings an international approach to both the structure of the program and its learning outcomes. The department's local and international faculty are interested in helping students master skill sets that will be useful in the world marketplace, including Korean and US entertainment markets. SIMA students can pursue courses in animation, broadcast media, cinema, web content, mobile technology, entrepreneurship, producing, and directing. SIMA provides a dynamic and professional environment so students can thrive as independents and as part of a production company. SIMA is paving a stronger and brighter future for digital media innovators.
